What's it all about?
The evening will be an insight into the latest recording techniques and will look to dispel some of the more popular myths which have filtered through the industry in recent years. The question and answer session will also provide opportunity for you the audience to ask those burning questions.
Our invited guest speakers will include producers and engineers who have worked with luminaries such as Bob Marley, The Rolling Stones, Elton John and Led Zeppelin to name a few.
"The aim of this tour is to stimulate discussion and debate amongst industry professionals as well as those new to the field of recording. We hope that people will walk away from these events enlightened and enthused, so that the techniques and information they have learnt can be implemented in the future" says Prism Sound Sales and Marketing Manager, Jody Thorne
Prism Sound's seminar speakers will be Simon Woollard, Sales and Applications Engineer and John Goldstraw, formerly Chief Technical Director of Metropolis Studios and now owner of Hathor Audio, a respected audio consultancy.
Many of today’s professionals no longer work out of large scale recording studios and if something goes wrong they don’t have the specialist technical engineers available. They rely upon their own equipment to integrate and work seamlessly, at the end of the day this is their livelihood. If we can educate professionals in best practice through providing the right information then we have achieved our objective." says John Goldstraw, Hathor Audio.
