Software Support
DRIVER / OS SUPPORT
Orpheus's driver applet will operate with Windows XP (WDM or ASIO 2.0 driver) or Vista, or Mac OS X (Core Audio, Intel or PPC). This driver will transact the audio channels with compatible applications and also allow control of basic unit functionality.
FIRMWARE DOWNLOADER
A downloader is available for each OS allowing updating of the unit's firmware.

  Analogue Connections
SIGNAL PATH: The eight analogue input channels and the two [eight if ADAT] digital input channels are available as DAW inputs through the host's audio driver. Similarly, the eight analogue output channels, the two [eight if ADAT] digital output channels and the stereo headphone outputs may all be driven independently via the audio driver. Alternatively, local mixing for all outputs may be selected through the control applet (e.g. low-latency foldback to headphones from inputs, local monitor mixes etc.) All inputs are differential inputs with automatic unbalanced operation.
