Prism Sound Appoints Real Music Ltd As Its Ukraine DistributorCambridge June 2007: With Eastern Europe now clearly highlighted as an area of growing opportunities for Pro Audio equipment manufacturers, Prism Sound has strengthened its position in this market by appointing Real Music Ltd as exclusive Ukraine distributor for its range of recording products.
Founded in 1998 by Sergey Shelkovenko, Real Music offers two distinct services distribution of high-end pro audio equipment for manufacturers such as TC Electronic, Allen & Heath, Tannoy and Meyersound, and the installation of equipment into music recording facilities. The company employs 56 staff and has four retail outlets, along with offices in three of Ukraine's largest cities, Kiev, Odessa and Donetsk.
"We sell goods all over Ukraine through a network of more than 50 dealers," says Shelkovenko. "We are delighted to be representing Prism Sound's recording products as the company has a strong international reputation for manufacturing high quality recording products. Demand for this type of product is growing and we see great potential for the Prism Sound range, in particular the new Orpheus unit, which is very highly specified and very competitively priced."
Jody Thorne, Prism Sound's sales and marketing manager, adds: "Real Music's established reputation, extensive industry knowledge and highly organised dealer network made the company a very attractive proposition as a distribution partner in what we see as a burgeoning market. We are confident that products like Prism Sound's ADA-8XR multichannel converter and the new Orpheus FireWire Interface unit, which was launched at Frankfurt in March, will be very successful for Real Music and we are looking forward to developing our relationship with them."
