Prism Sound appoints MixRommet to handle Test & Measurement range in Sweden

Prism Sound's range of test and measurement equipment is now being represented in Sweden by MixRommet, a subsidiary of Oslo-based distributor LydRommet, which already handles Prism Sound's range in Norway.

Established in 2007, Stockholm-based MixRommet shares service, support and administration facilities with LydRommet. The company is headed by Gunnar Silins, who spent more than 20 years as a sound engineer, maintenance engineer and recording studio manager before moving into pro audio sales. Since 1988 Silins has worked for several distribution companies in Sweden, selling and supporting a number of key equipment brands including Neutrik Test Instruments, which he represented for nearly five years.

Commenting on MixRommet's appointment, Gunnar Silins says: "Prism Sound's dScope Series III is a remarkable instrumentation platform that offers flexibility, a high level of functionality and an attractive price point. It obviously fits very well into MixRommet's regular customer base of pro-audio users and broadcasters. I am confident that my earlier experience of selling test and measurement equipment to manufacturers and other users outside the traditional world of sound people will be of great benefit to both Prism Sound and MixRommet."
